Indigo powder is a natural dye that comes from the crushed leaves of the indigo plant. It is green in appearance with ability to colour deep blue.

When applied over henna treated hair, it gives a lush black colour and when mixed with henna, it gives your hair a rich brown colour. You can use indigo powder on your hair weekly or as directed by physician.

For black color :
Step 1: Applying Henna – Make paste of henna powder with water and leave it on overnight. Apply it on hairs completely, after two hours, when it dry, Rinse off with water.
Step 2: Applying Indigo - Mix the indigo powder with Luke warm water to get thick paste and apply it on hairs completely. After two hours, when it dry, Wash off the hair with water.
Do not use shampoo or conditioner in both step for 2-3 days. The black color of your hair may take a couple of days to fully develop.


For brown color :
Step 1: Make past of henna powder with water and leave it on overnight to get thick paste, Next morning, mix the indigo powder to the henna paste. You can add more water to adjust the consistency of the paste. Apply the paste to on your hair completely. After two hours ,when it dry, Wash off the hair with water and do not use any shampoo or conditioner.

The ratio of henna powder should be 75% and Indigo powder 25% for brown hair.
Always do a patch test first on your forearm to check if you are sensitive to it.
The result may vary depending upon your natural hair colour, texture and percentage of grey hair.
